Ye, okay, so I'm pretty late in watching the Alien movies. But Covenant's trailer looked pretty good, so of course I finally got to them. The only movie I had previously watched was actually Prometheus, mostly because I love Michael Fassbender and at the time I didn't even know it was part of the Alien franchise, oops.
I've seen a lot of people hate the newer movies. And I can understand their viewpoints but despite all of that, I really enjoyed Covenant. I loved the first two movies, Alien and Aliens, but Alien 3 and Resurrection... I just, it was not the same anymore. It's like they spiraled somewhere way different. But solid franchise.

little men (2016)

get out (2017)

I feel like this movie is waaaaay underrated to be honest. Quite frankly, I'm in love with this movie. AND quite frankly, I'm upset that it has a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 69% (though it cracks me up, considering how the movie is.) But anyways. I wouldn't even know how to begin to talk about this movie.
It's just, like, ahhhh, amazing.
I was laughing so much throughout the majority of it. Not only that, but it honestly dives deep into a lot topics, such as why we exist and the universe and life and death and what means to be a person, like?!?!?! Not to mention, I love the chemistry between Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano; I think they picked a great duo to star in this movie. I just feel this is something that deserves more appreciation and I really think you should watch it.

Back in October (my favorite month of the year), I took my second road trip to California. We stayed almost the entire month, celebrating my sister and I's birthdays, chilling out, and just exploring more than we were able to from the first time visiting, back in summer of 2014.
And this short montage video is what came about from a lot of what I filmed; something I didn't do for the first trip there.

It's kinda one of my favorite montage videos I've made so far. I don't know why I've held on to it for this long. It's been finished for months now but I certainly have no reasons, haha. Either way, here's a little bit of my travels.

The funny thing about life is that you can't stop things from happening the way they're meant to. And you can't stop yourself from feeling certain ways, even when you try your hardest. And time is probably one of our biggest enemies.

Time.

Time and energy.

Two concepts that feel as though there is never enough of sometimes.

Not enough energy to want to get up from bed, even after getting more than the average amount of hours of sleep.

Not enough energy to do what you need. Not enough energy to do what you want.

Not enough time. Not enough hours.

Then, before you know it, months have gone by. A year.

Where the hell did it all go?

What were you even doing?

What were you feeling?

Looking back, does it really matter? I mean, really?

Is there even reason for explanations at that point?

We're just living in a cycle, essentially. Revolving around time and energy spent.

I'm beginning to think that's alright. We don't have to rush. Or stress.
Yeah, easier said than done.
But I never fully understood urgency.

I don't even think I understand what I'm typing right now.

You know that feeling when you want to express something but aren't fully sure how to go about it?
That's happening.
But sometimes it's better to express yourself however you can. Because no one is going to truly ever understand you. You might not even understand you.
But it's a start.
